victorian times & exames.

It's a while ago since I was active here on Blogger.

That was, because alot of things happen in my life right now.

Tomorrow I have my last exam and then I am done ( for first )!

I do will enjoy the summer holidays and will travel alot to France, Belgium etc. to hunt for the most glorious antique treasures.

By the way 'treasures' my latest purchase comes from France and its an antique Victorian 1870s tournure ball gown.

made out of silk, fine cotton, lace and tulle. 

I do come more addicted to antique victorian dresses, corsets, shoes and mannequins.

I love the victorian luxury lifestyle, it makes the home more comfortable and unique.

Now I have to hurry time for bed, tomorrow is the big day.

I think you all enjoy spring so far.

I painted our summer (garden) house this weekend and filled it with french treasures.

Now, it is our summer house where we can relaxe in.

Love the atmosphere in there, white and fresh.

crinolines & corsets.

I hope everyone have has a wonderful saturday so far.

Today is a sunny day again here, after storm, rain and low temperatures.

I wrote my german exam on wednesday and there are still a few exams to go.

As you saw in my last post, I changed my bedroom.

Still love and add some more details to the room.

A few weeks ago I found a crinoline in the States which I luckely purchased.

Last week the crinoline has arrivedand it fits perfectly one of my wasp waisted mannequins. 

Searched for so long and now I own one.

Enjoy this view so much.

bedroom which I've changed.

I always didn't liked my bedroom that much.

So I decited to make a complete make-over.

I run through markets the last weeks to find the more rare and beautiful items.

I had much fun to re-style it.

And now I have a french boudoir bedroom which I absolutely adore.

Mostly feminin, but it's the typical way of romantic.

I feel in love with pastell colours over the last months.

So soft and unique.

And now everything matches perfectly with my bedroom interior.

I hope you're enjoying easter so far.

Today I went with my good friend on a fleemarket trip.

We didn't found that much but a few beautiful things.

We came across this small side-table.

Firstable I thought this wouldn't fit perfectly with our white interior.

But happy I took this beauty with me.

When we came home, I saw that the table matches perfectly with the corset of our beautiful french Napoleon mannequin.

Our Mora, the white cream tablet that I found and the antique Louis XVI chair.

The entrance was always a 'not that beautiful' part of our home.

Didn't liked the cabinet there so much.

I cut some lilacs and
 had put them in an old rustical zinc basket.

The combination is perfect for us.

We love it so badly.

The french Napoleon was a easter present.
( but more of him in another post ).
