joyeux noël - in the Louis XVI Style.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I suppose I was very lazy here on my blog - but I will start with a totally new website, next year.

But for now, I want to wish you a blessed christmas and a magnificent happy new year.

My interior changed completely - I am very into the Louis XVI style - very french, very elegant.

Here is one picture of our christmas tree this year, in our sitting room.

I used to take this picture in the more 1900 style - to bring back a bit more atmosphere.

Our tree is very simple decorated with some baubles and pale pink bows.

This room contains 18th century portraits - Louis XVI furniture.

See you often in 2015.

some things change.

It's been a while ago since I posted here on my blog.

But as you can read - some things change and you always grow.

Sorry to say but:
I became tired of the Shabby-Chic scene.

I was not that happy person which I am now!

I have a complete style change at the moment.

I got the pleasure to got to know someone who has inspired me to the elegant timeless french interior.

original 18th century Louis XVI canape, which will be restored and upholstered in a french grey linnen.

That meant - gilded Furniture, exquisite fabric, unique pieces...

Inspired through the 18th century french châteaux, Parisian apartments and grand manor houses.

I hope we will see us soon also with a complete new blog-design.

Take care

Prom & Darkness.

Yesterday I had my prom!

It was a wonderful day with friends and family.

My school is over ( for now ) a new chapter in my life begins .... I am so looking forward to manage new challenges.

myself in my prom outfit.

Future here I come.
It will be awesome to work with an photographer and to go to an art & design school.

--------------------------------------------

Lately, I am really attracted to the more darker, mystical and rough photography especially in great locations with a different feeling.

I went to the cemetery in my town to photograph the antique grave stones from mid 18th to the late 19th century ...

The work from the past is even more gorgeous as it is today..

Happy mystical weekend

boxes and marie antoinette.

Happy sunday,

I went to a small flea-market this morning and found some small beautiful items.

A pale blue box with still its original sewing needles inside and a antique black and white painting/drawing from the Napoleon III / Marie Antoinette era of an Lady in her robe.

Enjoy your sunday

new challenge - chateau feeling - girandole.

After a week with alot of new fantastic challenges, weekend has arrived.

I learned how to take professional photographs, with the manuell setting of my camera.

Now photography makes even more fun, because you can create your own pictures with the right setting and handling.

I still have to learn but it makes a complete difference.

-------------------------------------------

After long weeks of waiting, my antique  Napoleon III girandole from France has arrived.

I fell in love first I saw it on the internet.

I couldn't resist to buy it.

Now our rooms become slightly more and more the chateau feeling - which I absolutely love.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

victorian times & exames.

It's a while ago since I was active here on Blogger.

That was, because alot of things happen in my life right now.

Tomorrow I have my last exam and then I am done ( for first )!
I do will enjoy the summer holidays and will travel alot to France, Belgium etc. to hunt for the most glorious antique treasures.

By the way 'treasures' my latest purchase comes from France and its an antique Victorian 1870s tournure ball gown.
made out of silk, fine cotton, lace and tulle.

I do come more addicted to antique victorian dresses, corsets, shoes and mannequins.

I love the victorian luxury lifestyle, it makes the home more comfortable and unique.

Now I have to hurry time for bed, tomorrow is the big day.
I wish you all a wonderful evening and a blessed weekend.

See you soon.
